PCA follows Prince George’s Public Schools guidelines  for schedule changes due to weather and unforeseen circumstances. You can be automatically notified by signing up for the Schools-Out.com notification service.

PCA's Emergency Procedures

PCA will use the following guidelines for emergencies that are not listed on the Prince Georges County Public Schools website:

CODE BLUE – All campuses

(1) Limited access to campus

(2) All outdoor activities are cancelled

(3) Faculty members who are not in class will make themselves available

 

 

CODE RED – All campuses

(1) Total lockdown of campus. No one enters or exits the building.

(2) Exterior gates will be locked.

(3) Students and staff remain inside and wait for instructions.

(4) Website is updated.

(5) Receptionist is given written, prepared statement.
